Mario's 3rd Birthday Video

Whew! Finally got these loaded.

Here are two videos from Mario's birthday.

This first one is him opening presents.

This one is of Isaac and Davey (well kind of) doing the Elmo hand dance. I should have recorded it the first time round. This is like the 6th...you kind of get that since no one was dancing anymore. Mario just wanted to watch it over and over, but not dance.

Mario's 3rd Birthday

This past Saturday was Mario's 3rd Birthday. We all went over to Julia's house to celebrate. He is soooo into Elmo these days. So needless to say buying a present for him was way easy, for once. Usually this is not the case. He got plenty of new Elmo things, including his new ELMO hands (he wanted these since before Christmas), and plenty of new toys. He is so excited to be the same age as Davey again. It's crazy those two wanted nothing to do with each for the first 2 years of their lives. And now they are the best of friends.

Here is Mario's cake. Julia did a great job on it. Mario wasnt the only one excited. All the kids loved it. The best part was we already owned the pan. Davey had an Elmo birthday for his 1st birthday. Its always great to save money. :)

Mario is such a cutie pa-tootie. I made this shirt for him the night before when he spent the night at my house. Since I sell Iron Ons online I always make the kids shirts since I have the stock on hand. He couldnt wait to wear it.

Julia got this for him. OMG!!! Isnt he just so freaking adorable. He is running over to Uncle David. He wouldnt go to me or Mammers, only David. He totally loves his Uncle.

PRESENT TIME!!

Thanks everyone for the presents. Mario loved all them!

Cake. He told his mom to put his candles in these spots. Goofball.
Love everyone! Talk to you soon.

Playdoh Fun

David came home for lunch the other day and usually Davey yells "daddy" when he walks through the door and tries to play with him. However on this day that was not the case. He was distracted because he was playing with PLAYDOH and wasn't about to budge for his dad. I totally love playdoh and so do the kids. So David decided to record him having fun while I made Daddy's lunch. Enjoy.

(Sorry for the shakiness of the camera, I am still trying to teach David not to do that.)

Fishie Time

So last week my great friend Lisa invited us to go to the Shark Reef. She is just great. I mean a true friend. You cant find many of those here in Vegas, but about 5 years back I did. We met when I wanted to play volleyball and she picked my name off a list of people wanting to play but didn't have a team. She is just great, along with her hubby Iz, and little one Austin. Davey just loves them too.

Any who...the Shark Reef. Love this place. Don't go often since not much changes but who doesn't love to see Sea Creatures. I know my family does. It was just us, Lisa and her little one Austin, and Julia and Mario. It was great, and Davey even got to touch the sting rays. However jellyfish scare him apparently. They have a big round tube type display of them with a ledge. So we stood all the kids up there. He loved it at first. But then two, very large ones swam right in front of him. That just freaked him out. Even though there was glass between him and them, that was just not enough. He didn't care for them much after that and wanted down.

Here we are at the starfish. Those are HUGE!!! Like his shirt? I totally made it. He didn't care much but his dad did. I guess that is all that counts since I did make it for his Daddy so they match.

Here Aunt and Mario.

Here's all three. Man it was hard to get a pick of all of them looking at the camera. If you haven't been here, this is in this ship part where 3/4 of the thing is glass and then the Sea Creatures. Its totally dark in here but cool as heck. So much to see. That's probably why the kids wouldn't pay attention.

Here's a pick of Davey looking at a fish that was almost as big as he was. See that nice big line, yeah that's a crack. Or at least where they sealed the glass together. Either way a little uneasy for me. You can touch it and feel a ridge, I just keep picturing the JAWS movie where the people were in the underwater tunnel exhibit and it starts to crack open. I am soooo NOT a fan of sharks or the ocean. I guess that's why I only go to aquariums and not see the real thing.

After our little outing at the Shark Reef it was time to pick up Digo Mo (Diego). So we decided to go to the park down the street. Most of you who came to my wedding I am sure saw this park. It is the cowboy park right outside the house we got married out. The kids love it. Plus its nice that it is down the street from Julia.

Diego wanted Alicia (Lisa) to push him higher and higher. We have been trying for about a year to get him to stop calling her Lisa. She says he is the only one that is allowed to do that. Well on this trip he finally told us why he calls her that. It is because he is Diego just like Diego from Go Diego Go and he has a sister called Alicia. So Lisa is his Alicia. Crazy kid. We all had a good laugh at that, and now it totally makes sense.

Aww...Here is Austin. He is just the sweetest little thing. He is always so open with me. He always holds my hand, not his mommy's. :) He even gives me a kiss goodbye sometimes.

My child loves to go high just like Diego, however wont do it in the big kid swing. I think because he is lazy. He can just sit in the baby swing and not have to hang on too much.

This was the third one I took of Mario. He was being a turd. He didn't want his pick taken so I pretty much would only get an empty swing. Then finally he just gave in and sat still for me to take one.
