We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this past week. We had a good one, and it seems like Davey got everything he wanted and then some. We started Christmas Eve off shopping. Ugh! A mistake I know. But we needed food and I had tried to go a couple of times days before that and just had so much going on. So needless to say we were out on the 24th like idiots fighting crowds at Walmart. Would have loved to go to Smiths, but we needed a little more than just groceries so had to go to Walmart to get it all done in a one stop shop. Or so we thought. Why is it that Walmart spends so much on advertising about they have what you want and at a low price, but most of the time I find they don't have what I want at all and well hardly at the lower price! So after Walmart, I dropped the family off at home and ran to Target. I still needed something that Walmart didn't have but couldn't get at a grocery store so yet another trip to a store. Then off to Smiths. Should have just gone to those two stores in the first place. Probably wouldn't have wasted my precious TIME!

Any who...then home by 430pm to relax for just a little bit. Mammers was coming over later and we were going to have fondue. Yum! A favorite in our family these days. All of the presents were wrapped and food was prepared so time for just making goodies and relaxing. We ate and hung out and was pretty much LAZY! The best way to spend a holiday. Daddy went to bed early, yeah he's old, and then we put on Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. Put out the bed in the living room for Mammers and got comfy to watch the movie. Davey kept insisting that he wanted to sleep with Mammers. The movie ended and Davey was still wide awake (10pm). So we found something else to watch for another 30 min. Put Davey in his room and waited...noise...more noise...What the heck! I go in there and he is playing. I get him another juice and wait...and wait...by now and hour and a half has gone by. Mammers is a sleep, David is passed out in bed, and I am ready to get started. But wait, what do I hear but a 3 year old still AWAKE! One more time I go in at 1220AM, and tell him he must go to sleep. I wait 25 minutes and YES he is asleep. I got started and was done by 130am. Thank Goodness because I was tired. Here are some pics of that morning.

Off to Julia's in the afternoon. What great times. The boys love to play with each other and this day was no different. Well except that Diego had been bad the entire week so he got Christmas taken away. Who does that? I mean what child in their right mind gets told time and time again to be good, clean up, play nice, etc or you will lose Christmas and then just plain doesn't for a week. I don't know how he was in the morning but I can tell you by the time we got there it was really getting to him. He wasn't allowed to open presents and pretty much was not allowed to come downstairs at all. And after all that he still was misbehaving. Poor kid. Learn your lesson and move on. He missed out on so much. Opening presents, playing with all the toys, especially the Power Wheels, watching movies, and playing games. He pretty much only got to eat. Aside from all that drama, we all had fun and once again we were lazy the rest of the night. Just hanging out and eating. Here are some pics from Julia's house.

Talk to everyone soon.

Our First Post

Well here it goes. The time has come. I have several friends and relatives that have blogs about their families and have decided that what a better way to keep in touch with all of you than to do the same.

This month has been a busy one so far. With Christmas just around the corner, going to see Santa, Davey turning 3, and just plain enjoying the Holiday's has been a whirlwind. But a good one. This is my most favorite time of year. Especially with a little one. He makes it more exciting than ever. Even Scrooge David isnt as Bah Humbug these days. He loves the way Davey acts to all of the festivites and such.

We took all of the kids to see Santa a couple of weeks ago and we are only down to 1 child crying. Mario. He just isnt quite ready to be left alone on Santa's lap. The big boys of course know they need to tell Santa what they want. Davey, well the first year went great, obviously couldnt talk but at least sat there long enough for us to get some pictures. Last year, wow, nothing but tears. This year he sat there and told him that he want an "Eeka Choo Choo" (mickey choo choo) and an "Isaac's DS" (a leapster). We had been rehearsing it for weeks. He did so great and I was so proud. Then Mario's turn. Nope. Not a word. Just kept grabbing for his mom. So needless to say the single pictures we got of him also contained Julia. HAHAHAHA!! He is a cutie though. Here is the last pic we got of all of them with Santa. See how Mario is standing so close to Isaac, yet looking off to the side, yep he's looking at mom to make sure she is still there.

We just recently had Davey's 3rd Birthday Party on Saturday. Although he has had birthday parties in the past it was only with family. This year we actually threw a party for him and invited some of his little friends. He had a blast and was so excited when Mammer's brought him home to see the house decorated and balloons everywhere. We did a Toy Story Theme this year as he loves that movie and we were Buzz, Woody and Jessie for Halloween. I will post pictures of that later. We had a great time for his birthday and thank you to all of you that came and even the ones who didnt but sent presents to show your love. He loved everything he got :)

Here is a video of everyone singing Davey Happy Birthday. He was so ready for cake he kept blowing out the candles.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe HOLIDAY!!
